Required Education:

• High school diploma



Skills Required:

• 1–3+ years of medical device assembly or micro-assembly experience in a regulated ISO class cleanroom environment (cardiovascular, pacemakers, ICDs, leads, or catheter assembly)

• Proven experience working with small components under microscopes or magnifying tools, using tweezers, cutters, and precision hand tools

• Familiarity with electronic data collection systems, basic computer software, and strict adherence to Device History Records (DHR) / manufacturing travelers

• Understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles (5S, waste reduction) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)

• Strong verbal and written communication skills to record lot traceability accurately and report line bottlenecks



Position Overview:

• Seeking a dedicated Medical Device Assembly Operator to join our manufacturing cell in Sylmar, CA

• Working under supervision in a cleanroom environment, you will perform precision assembly, repair, and testing operations on lifesaving cardiovascular technologies, including pacemakers, implantable cardioverter defibrillators (ICDs), and leads



Position Responsibilities:

• Precision Assembly: Perform assembly, testing, and repair operations on small medical device assemblies according to standardized procedures

• Quality & Traceability: Maintain accurate traveler records and documentation to ensure full component traceability and Quality Management System (QMS) compliance

• Material Handling: Handle and maneuver tiny components using specialized hand tools, magnifying devices, or microscopes

• Lean Manufacturing: Apply basic Lean Manufacturing principles and participate in continuous improvement activities to optimize cell performance metrics

• Communication & Safety: Clearly communicate production issues or ideas to team leads and supervisors; strictly adhere to environmental safety and cleanroom dress code guidelines



Required Dress Code:

• Clothing must be non-shedding and free of frayed hems or loose threads

• Tassels, fringes, glitter, sequins (sewn or glued on), and any other items that could become dislodged are not allowed on clothing

• Sweaters, sweater vests, loose fiber garments, loose knit, or fleece may not be worn
