Job Description
Required Education:
• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.

Required Experiences and Skills:
• 0–2 years of engineering experience (internships and co-op experience considered).
• Strong Communication & Organizational Skills
• Ability to communicate effectively across cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities.
• Strong Technical Aptitude & Willingness to Learn
• Demonstrated initiative, problem-solving skills, and a desire to learn project management, manufacturing processes, and capital equipment implementation.

Preferred Experiences and Skills:
• Medical Device industry experience
• PMP, Lean Six Sigma, or other project management certifications are a plus but not required

Manufacturing Project Engineer Responsibilities:
The Project Engineer is responsible for the technical execution of capital equipment and manufacturing improvement projects from concept through production release. Working closely with Project Managers, Manufacturing Engineering, Quality, Facilities, Supply Chain, and external equipment suppliers, this role ensures projects are delivered on schedule while meeting safety, quality, and operational objectives.

This position serves as the technical validation lead for project execution, working with equipment SME on design reviews, vendor management, installation, commissioning, qualification, and issue resolution across multiple manufacturing projects.

Typical day to day:
Support Project Managers in the execution of capital projects by coordinating project activities, tracking action items, and communicating with cross-functional teams. Attend project meetings, assist with equipment installations, FAT/SAT and validation activities, work with engineering teams and suppliers to resolve technical issues, and maintain project documentation. The role will involve spending time both in the office and on the manufacturing floor while learning the project lifecycle and progressively taking ownership of project tasks.
