Job Description
Only qualified Manufacturing Production Test Technician candidates located near the Durham North Carolina area to be considered due to the position requiring an onsite presence.



Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent.





Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years hands on experience with electronics or electromechanical systems

• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams

• Experience using a multimeter and electronic diagnostic tools

• Ability to troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and software issues

• Ability to follow detailed test procedures and documentation



Responsibilities

• Perform functional testing of vial fill machines

• Validate performance accuracy safety and reliability

• Document results defects and fixes

• Ensure units meet quality and customer specifications

• Diagnose mechanical electrical and software issues

• Use schematics and diagnostic tools to identify failures

• Perform repairs calibrations and adjustments

• Collaborate with engineering and technical support teams

• Load software and execute firmware updates

• Configure machines per order requirements

• Verify accuracy of programmed settings and labeling

• Align work with production priorities and shipping schedules

• Maintain a clean organized and safe work environment

• Provide process improvement feedback

• Assist in training new technicians

• Accurately record work in MES systems

• Follow all safety quality and standard work procedures

• Support continuous improvement and corrective action efforts



Additional Information

• Shift hours 2 pm to 10:30 pm with initial training on first shift

• Must have reliable transportation

• Ability to lift or move up to 50 pounds occasionally

• Safety shoes required safety glasses provided

• Fast paced team oriented work environment

• Contract role with potential for extension or conversion
