Job Summary
• Lead the development and implementation of manufacturing equipment, fixtures, and processes that support new product development (NPD) initiatives.
• Design, assemble, install, test, and validate custom and off-the-shelf manufacturing equipment and inspection fixtures.
• Create and maintain manufacturing documentation, including work instructions, inspection procedures, PPAP documentation, and engineering drawings.
• Support manufacturing line setup, product repair processes, incoming inspection, and First Article Inspection (FAI) activities.
• Troubleshoot manufacturing equipment, fixtures, and production issues while driving continuous process improvements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to transition new products from design into manufacturing.
• Manage multiple engineering projects simultaneously while working independently with minimal supervision.
• Apply strong technical problem-solving skills to develop efficient, high-quality manufacturing solutions.
• Ensure manufacturing processes meet quality, safety, and regulatory requirements in a fast-paced engineering environment.
• Contribute to the successful launch of innovative medical device products by supporting manufacturing readiness and production excellence.
