Job Description
Required Education:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent



Required Skills and Experience:

• Minimum 2 years of manufacturing experience

• Detailed knowledge of production equipment operation

• Experience setting up, adjusting, optimizing, and troubleshooting production equipment

• Basic knowledge of pneumatics, electrical systems, electronics, and hydraulics

• Ability to properly use hand and maintenance tools

• Ability to troubleshoot and perform equipment repairs within capability

• Experience with equipment changeovers and startup procedures

• Ability to perform preventative maintenance

• Ability to read and follow specifications, plant policies, and department procedures

• Ability to monitor equipment and identify potential issues

• Ability to maintain accurate production, maintenance, and downtime records

• Clear and legible handwriting required

• Ability to perform and document quality control checks

• Strong attention to detail and product quality

• Ability to maintain a clean and orderly production environment

• Ability to follow safety, environmental, and Quality System Requirements

• Ability to work overtime when requested due to business needs



Responsibilities:

• Set up, operate, optimize, change over, troubleshoot, and maintain assigned production equipment

• Operate equipment within specified quality and production limits

• Set up and debug equipment according to specifications, plant policies, and department procedures

• Adjust, troubleshoot, clean, and repair equipment as needed

• Maintain equipment in proper working condition to support production and quality requirements

• Maintain equipment logs and document downtime and maintenance issues

• Repair equipment within capability and report major issues to the supervisor

• Assist Manufacturing Technicians, Engineering, and Maintenance with major repairs

• Perform preventative maintenance according to the plant PM program

• Start up equipment and verify proper machine and control panel operation

• Monitor and replenish component inventory as needed

• Verify safety guards are properly positioned and functioning

• Check and clean part tracks to ensure proper movement of components

• Notify Material Handlers when component supplies are running low

• Maintain accurate production and downtime records and logbooks

• Monitor in-process product quality and address issues to help prevent product holds

• Perform and document required quality control checks

• Perform required process challenges

• Maintain a neat and orderly production area

• Follow all safety, environmental, and Quality System Requirements (QSR)
