Job Description
***Only qualified Tech 1 Equipment Maintenance candidates located near the Sumter, South Carolina area to be considered due to the position requiring an onsite presence***

**Education**
* Two-year degree in Applied Technical Sciences or equivalent from a vocational or related technical college

Required Experience
* Minimum of two years work experience in a manufacturing environment
* One year experience in project management or manufacturing environment
* Candidate must know how use allen wrenches, torque wrenches and socket wrenches, no exceptions.

**Tech Skills**
* Ability to use Allen wrenches torque wrenches and socket wrenches
* Working knowledge of blueprints schematics and part drawings
* Familiarity with Excel Word PowerPoint Minitab SAP CAD MS Project and Visio
* Knowledge of basic and approved engineering principles
* Mechanical design knowledge

**Soft Skills**
* Verbal communication skills
* Written communication skills

**Physical Requirements**
* Ability to work the regular H Shift schedule from 8am to 8pm on a 3 2 2 3 rotation
* Ability to complete training on the G Shift on a 3 2 2 3 rotation
* Ability to work overtime hours when requested due to business needs
* Ability to pass an onsite eye exam
* Steel toe shoes or composite shoes are required

**Responsibilities**
* Provide a variety of technical services including mechanical design
* Apply basic and approved engineering principles to technical services
* Work with blueprints schematics and part drawings
* Support manufacturing and technical operations
