Job Description
Required Education:
• High School Diploma or Equivalent with a Certificate and 2 years of relevant experience
• High School Diploma or Equivalent with 4 years of relevant experience
(Relevant Experience Includes: Electrical/Electronics Technician, Electromechanical Technician, Mechanical Engineering Technician, Industrial Programmer, Electrician, Machine Builder/Repairer, Machinist, Refrigeration Mechanic, Welding Repairer)

Required Skills and Experience:
• Experience maintaining and operating highly complex and automated manufacturing equipment
• Strong mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical troubleshooting skills
• Ability to analyze, troubleshoot, and repair complex equipment and machinery
• Ability to read electrical and pneumatic schematics
• Ability to interpret technical manuals, blueprints, diagrams, and equipment specifications
• Experience with machine setup, operation, changeovers, and troubleshooting
• Mechanical aptitude
• Electrical aptitude
• Hydraulics and pneumatics knowledge
• Ability to use a multimeter
• Knowledge of sensor technology
• Basic plumbing knowledge for fluid and pneumatic systems
• Knowledge of power transmission, including gearboxes, motors, belts, and chain drives
• Basic machining skills
• Electrical troubleshooting from low-level signals through 480 VAC
• Understanding of trades mathematics and calibration techniques
• Experience using precision measuring instruments
• Basic PC skills, including Microsoft Excel and Word

• Flexible and adaptable when supporting different equipment, processes, projects, and assignments

• SAP maintenance module or equivalent computerized maintenance system

• Experience using mills, lathes, and bearing presses

Responsibilities:
• Set up, operate, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair AutoPak equipment
• Perform minor and major routine maintenance and preventative maintenance
• Control and adjust machine settings for AutoPak equipment
• Perform mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical maintenance, repairs, adjustments, inspections, and monitoring
• Support production, quality, downtime, and waste-level objectives
• Operate automated manufacturing equipment for filling, packing, assembling, labeling, and inspecting
• Independently operate multiple production lines and manage equipment changeovers
• Provide operator and technical support throughout the assigned business operation
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex machine-performance and product-quality issues
• Conduct root-cause analysis for process or product exceptions
• Monitor quality using statistical process or other control procedures
• Read and evaluate charts, diagrams, testing procedures, and inspection procedures
• Maintain accurate quality, safety, production, and maintenance documentation
• Perform cleanup functions in sterilized areas as needed
• Work with external contractors and vendors when required
• Follow established procedures in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
• Follow all Client housekeeping policies and procedures
• Follow all Client safety policies and procedures
• Make effective decisions related to equipment operation and maintenance requirements
• Plan, perform, troubleshoot, and problem-solve maintenance activities using sound judgment
• Work overtime as required to meet Client business needs
• Perform other duties as assigned
