Job Description
***Only qualified Operations Maintenance Technician candidates located near the Covington, Georgia area to be considered due to the position requiring an onsite presence***



Education

• High School Diploma or Equivalent



Required Qualifications

• Ability to operate MHE Material Handling Equipment

• General knowledge of housekeeping equipment chemicals products and techniques

• Ability to perform light general facility maintenance

• Excellent organizational analytical and process efficiency skills

• Strong initiative and drive for results

• Experience in general housekeeping and light maintenance preferred



Physical Demands

• Regular walking standing stooping kneeling balancing crouching reaching pushing pulling grasping hearing twisting lifting and repetitive hand movements

• Occasional climbing may be required

• Ability to lift over 50 lbs in some areas

• Must have vision corrected to 20/40 in each eye

• Must have hearing sufficient to safely operate MHE in a manufacturing or distribution environment

Work Environment

• Moderate to loud noise levels

• Exposure to moving mechanical equipment and precarious situations

• Potential exposure to temperature excursions

• Occasional exposure to fumes and airborne particles



Responsibilities

• Responsible for keeping assigned areas clean and in an orderly fashion

• Required to document all cleaning activities per SOP guidelines

• Responsible for maintaining inventory of housekeeping supplies and entering supply orders

• Responsible for running the floor scrubber and some MHE

• Become knowledgeable of the responsibilities of other positions to assist during urgency breaks absences or vacation coverage
