Required Qualification
• 2–4+ years of experience maintaining and troubleshooting electronic, electrical, or automated production equipment.
• Hands-on experience troubleshooting complex manufacturing equipment across mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and controls systems.
• Experience reading and interpreting electrical/mechanical schematics, technical manuals, work instructions, and equipment documentation.
• Experience with CMMS systems; IBM Maximo.
• Experience working in GMP, FDA, ISO, medical-device, pharmaceutical, biotech, or another regulated manufacturing environment.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize competing equipment issues, and make sound technical decisions in a fast-paced production environment.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, documentation, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work effectively with Production, Engineering, Quality, vendors, contractors, and other cross-functional teams.
• Ability to work scheduled overtime.

Overview
We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to support complex automated manufacturing equipment in a regulated healthcare/medical-device manufacturing environment. This is a hands-on role focused on equipment reliability, troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and production uptime. The ideal candidate will be comfortable diagnosing problems across electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, controls, and automation systems and working independently as a key technical resource on the production shift. You will partner closely with Production, Engineering, Quality, contractors, and equipment vendors to keep manufacturing equipment operating safely, reliably, and in compliance with applicable quality and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities
• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain complex automated manufacturing equipment to minimize downtime and maintain production output.
• Diagnose equipment issues involving electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, controls, automation, sensors, and related systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance and document completed work in the CMMS/IBM Maximo system.
• Monitor equipment performance, cycle times, OEE, and other production metrics to identify reliability and performance opportunities.
• Use technical manuals, schematics, diagnostic software, precision tools, and test equipment to identify and resolve equipment problems.
• Analyze equipment trends and failure data, perform root-cause analysis, and implement corrective and continuous-improvement actions.
• Prioritize troubleshooting and maintenance based on production impact, equipment criticality, and business needs.
• Maintain accurate equipment history, repair, maintenance, and modification records.
• Document the impact of maintenance activities and equipment modifications on production operations and the validated state of equipment.
• Support investigations involving equipment-related process or product nonconformances.
• Maintain cross-training across multiple manufacturing processes and equipment platforms.
• Partner with Production, Engineering, Quality, contractors, and vendors to improve equipment reliability.
• Support audits, inspections, facility tours, and other activities by demonstrating strong technical knowledge and adherence to procedures.
• Follow all applicable safety, Quality Management System (QMS), Environmental Management System (EMS), FDA, GMP, and other regulatory requirements.
