• Ability to learn and operate machinery throughout the shift

Mail Insert Operator (High-Speed Inserters) Overview

• The Mail Insert Operator is responsible for operating high-speed inserters to efficiently process and insert various materials into envelopes or mailers

• The role involves loading papers into the machine and operating the machine throughout the shift

• The position requires strong attention to detail, accuracy, and adherence to established quality and productivity standards

• Workers will be required to stand for approximately 8 hours while operating the machine

• Prior experience operating machinery or working in a factory environment is preferred but not required, as training will be provided

• No college degree is required for this position

• The team is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented individual who can follow instructions, maintain accuracy, and contribute to daily production goals

• A structured 4-week training program will be provided to help the worker progressively learn the equipment and production processes

• Workers will also receive training on each shift



Job Duties

• Operate high-speed inserters to assemble and insert materials into envelopes or mailers

• Ensure proper setup and adjustment of equipment to handle different sizes and types of materials

• Monitor the inserters during operation to ensure smooth operation and prevent jams or malfunctions

• Perform regular maintenance and cleaning of inserters to maintain optimal performance

• Collaborate with the production team to meet daily production goals and prioritize job orders

• Verify the accuracy and quality of inserted materials, addressing any issues or discrepancies

• Assist in troubleshooting and resolving mechanical or technical problems related to inserters

• Follow established safety procedures and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment

• Maintain accurate production records and reports

• Load papers into the machine and operate the machine throughout the shift
