Job Description
Required Education:
• High School Diploma or GED

Required Qualifications/Skills/Experience:
• Experience in a print or mail room environment
• Proficiency with Microsoft business software (Excel, PDF, Outlook)
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Ability to stand for long periods
• Past experience operating large digital copiers, inserters, or mailing machines
• Experience handling mail
• Customer service experience
• Ability to multitask in a high-pressure environment
• Ability to adhere to strict turnaround times
• Comfortable working with the mechanics of production-class printers and inserters
• Flexibility and openness to workplace changes

Mail Clerk Overview:
• This position supports a high-volume corporate mailroom responsible for digital printing, mail processing, and related production tasks in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment.
• The role involves operating large production-class printers and inserters to print, fold, and insert materials into various envelopes while following detailed job documentation and maintaining accuracy throughout each step of the workflow.
• Additional responsibilities include postage application, job verification, and general mailroom functions as needed.
• The operation runs 24/7/365 and manages sensitive healthcare information, requiring strict adherence to compliance, professionalism, and confidentiality.
• Individuals who balance efficiency, reliability, teamwork, and strong customer service skills will thrive in this environment and will have opportunities for long-term growth.

Job Duties:
• Multitask in a high-pressure environment
• Adhere to strict turnaround times
• Work efficiently on a computer using Microsoft programs
• Operate multiple large production printers simultaneously
• Clear printer jams and maintain stock
• Operate large production inserters and work comfortably with machine mechanics
• Fold and insert printed materials into various envelopes
• Apply postage and complete job documentation
• Verify print jobs based on provided documentation
• Perform general mailroom functions throughout the day
• Work collaboratively to maintain a positive and enjoyable workplace
• Remain open and adaptable to workplace changes
• Handle sensitive information in a secure and compliant manner
