Job Description
Required Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent



Required Experience / Skills:

• Minimum 2+ years of experience in transportation, logistics, distribution, fleet operations, or supply chain operations

• Knowledge of transportation and distribution systems, freight operations, and logistics procedures

• Experience analyzing transportation costs, freight classifications, tariff rates, and operational efficiency

• Understanding of transportation regulations, carrier management, and shipping procedures

• Experience coordinating fleet operations, including scheduling, maintenance, repair, and disposal activities

• Ability to work with third-party transportation providers and common carriers

• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills

• Ability to follow established procedures, work routines, and operational guidelines

• Good communication and coordination skills with internal teams and external vendors

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and transportation or logistics management systems



Job Duties:

• Analyze transportation and distribution systems and procedures to support efficient and cost-effective product delivery

• Review transportation proposals and recommend modifications related to rates and transportation regulations

• Evaluate freight classifications, tariff rates, and operating efficiency to ensure timely and accurate product delivery

• Plan, coordinate, and support fleet operations, including vehicle acquisition, scheduling, maintenance, repair, and disposal activities

• Coordinate with common carriers and third-party transportation companies to support transportation needs

• Monitor transportation operations and identify opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction

• Ensure transportation activities comply with company policies, operational procedures, and regulatory requirements

• Maintain transportation records, schedules, and operational documentation

• Support day-to-day logistics and distribution activities while adhering to established procedures and guidelines

• Collaborate with internal departments and external transportation partners to ensure operational efficiency
