Required Education:

Preferred Education:
• Associate degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or related field preferred.

Required Experience:
• 2–5 years of experience in logistics, receiving, shipping, warehouse operations, inventory control, or supply chain functions.
• Experience working with freight carriers, shipping documentation, and warehouse operations.
• Experience with ERP/WMS systems such as SAP, Oracle, Manhattan, Q2C, or similar platforms preferred.

Position Overview:
The Logistics & Receiving Coordinator is responsible for coordinating inbound and outbound material flow, maintaining inventory accuracy, managing shipping and receiving operations, and ensuring compliance with company safety, quality, and trade requirements. This position works closely with carriers, suppliers, warehouse operations, and internal customers to support efficient supply chain execution and customer satisfaction.

Position Responsibilities:

Essential Functions
• Logistics Operations
• Coordinate all outbound shipments with carriers and internal customers.
• Create Bills of Lading (BOLs), shipping labels, and shipment documentation.
• Schedule carrier pickups through transportation management systems and email communication.
• Prepare shipments from start to finish, including labeling, packing, documentation, and invoicing.
• Plan and track shipments according to customer requirements.
• Maintain shipment logs, records, and transportation documentation.
• Ensure all trade and compliance requirements are met, including CTPAT and Dangerous Goods regulations.

Receiving Operations
• Receive and process incoming shipments from LTL carriers, parcel carriers, air freight, and other transportation providers.
• Verify quantities, part numbers, and shipment documentation against purchase orders and packing slips.
• Audit Bills of Lading and receiving documentation for accuracy.
• Coordinate delivery of received materials to the appropriate warehouse, department, or production area.
• Investigate and resolve receiving discrepancies, freight damage, and shipment variances.

Inventory & Material Control
• Maintain accurate inventory transactions in ERP/WMS systems.
• Monitor inventory accuracy and support cycle counts and inventory reconciliation activities.
• Track and maintain records for all incoming and outgoing materials.
• Maintain organized warehouse, receiving, and shipping areas.
• Support warehouse operations and floor activities as business needs require.

Communication & Continuous Improvement
• Participate in daily operational meetings and communicate delivery, inventory, quality, and transportation issues.
• Coordinate with suppliers, carriers, buyers, and internal stakeholders to resolve operational issues.
• Respond to customer and internal service requests.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, delivery, productivity, and cost reduction.
• Contribute to process improvement projects within logistics and warehouse operations.
