Job Description
Required Skills, Experience, Qualifications and Abilities:
• Ability to perform a variety of paralegal activities in support of the Client.
• Ability to work closely and professionally with investigators, Client’s attorneys, respondents, court reporters, and administrative staff
• Ability to prepare correspondence and legal/case-related materials
• Ability to assist attorneys and investigators in preparing cases for hearings
• Ability to prepare, organize, and maintain legal and case files
• Ability to draft and prepare legal documents for attorney and investigator review
• Ability to organize hearing files and maintain exhibits
• Ability to prepare subpoenas and coordinate their service
• Ability to arrange the filing of legal memoranda and other legal papers
• Ability to conduct legal research, analyze complex legal materials, and communicate research findings both verbally and in writing
• Ability to maintain case files, calendars, databases, and case-tracking systems
• Ability to monitor dockets, deadlines, and final decisions
• Ability to handle confidential legal matters appropriately
• Strong organizational, research, written communication, and administrative skills

Reporting to the General Counsel, First Deputy, and Director of Trade Practices, the incumbent will provide paralegal support to the Client. The position involves working closely with investigators, Client’s attorneys, respondents, court reporters, and administrative staff. Responsibilities include supporting hearings, maintaining case databases and tracking systems, organizing case files and records, preparing legal documents and correspondence, conducting legal research, and preparing subpoenas.

Job Duties:
• Prepare correspondence and all relevant case materials for hearings
• Assist in preparing cases for hearings by completing a variety of case-related activities
• Prepare documents and draft legal documents for review by investigators and attorneys
• Organize case files and maintain exhibits for hearings
• Prepare subpoenas and arrange for their service
• Arrange for the filing of legal memoranda and other legal papers
• Assist attorneys with resources and supporting materials needed for hearings
• Conduct research into complex legal matters
• Analyze legal materials and present findings through verbal and written comments
• Prepare and maintain case files and calendars
• Record and monitor the status of dockets, deadlines, and final decisions
• Maintain databases and case-tracking systems
• Assist the General Counsel with confidential legal matters
• Perform other duties as assigned by the General Counsel and First Deputy General Counsel and Director of Trade Practices
