Job Description
Required Education:
• High School Diploma

Required Qualifications/Skills/Experience:
• Experience with the coordination of logistics for the DOH Direct Referral hearing process
• Operation of the postage meter and process for sending documents by certified mail
• Experience fielding incoming calls
• Proficient in coordinating the service of legal documents
• Experience with processing of invoices for process service companies
• Experience working in the New York State Department of Health, Division of Legal Affairs
• Knowledge of the organizational structure of the Department of Health
• Proficiency with the operation of the Cisco telephone system

Job Duties
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Experience with the coordination of logistics for the DOH Direct Referral hearing process Ability to work independently on multiple case hearing details
• Proficient with operation of postage meter and process for sending documents by certified mail
• Experience fielding incoming calls, determining the legal subject that the caller is calling about, and routing caller to appropriate attorney or refer to appropriate DOH program area
• Proficient in coordinating service of legal documents
• Experience with processing of invoices for process service companies
• Experience working in the New York State Department of Health, Division of Legal Affairs
• Knowledge of the organizational structure of Department of Health
• Good communication skills both written and verbal
• Works well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
• Able to maintain an organized work space
• Reliable, efficient, and flexible
• Able to work independently and effectively
