Job Description:
The Justice Center for the Protection of People with Special Needs (Justice Center or Agency) is seeking candidates for 1 position to assist with processing letters of determination in the Agency’s Legal Determinations Unit. The position calls for staff who are task-oriented with great attention to detail. Additionally, staff need to be able to work independently with time-sensitive and confidential tasks, have experience working in a database, and have the ability to review Letters of Determination for accuracy.
Job Duties:
• Processing letters of determination (LOD) within the Justice Center database.
• Report on the unit’s workload analysis reports.
• Mailing LOD to Providers, Personal Representatives, and subjects.
• Emailing the appropriate party’s final determinations.
• Processing returned mail per the unit’s procedures.
• Closing cases in the agency database.
• Additional projects and duties may also be assigned, depending on emergent agency business needs.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of documents, conversations, proceedings, process, etc. is required.
