Required Education:

Required Skills, Experience, and Knowledge:
• Experience providing legal or litigation support
• Experience managing multiple documents, deadlines, and case-related activities
• Experience supporting attorneys in hearings, litigation, administrative proceedings, regulatory matters, or a government legal environment
Legal Assistant – Hearings & Litigation Support Job Responsibilities:
• Schedule hearings and coordinate calendars for attorneys and investigators
• Prepare correspondence, case materials, exhibits, and other documents needed for hearings
• Assist attorneys with preparing cases for hearings and other legal proceedings
• Draft legal documents and correspondence for attorney review
• Organize and maintain case files, exhibits, records, and supporting documentation
• Prepare subpoenas and coordinate arrangements for service
• Coordinate the filing of legal memoranda and other legal papers
• Research complex legal issues and review statutes, regulations, cases, and other relevant materials.
• Summarize research findings and provide written or verbal information to attorneys
• Maintain case calendars and track dockets, deadlines, decisions, and other important case activity
• Maintain accurate case information in databases and case-tracking systems
• Assist the General Counsel and senior legal staff with confidential legal matters
• Provide research, documentation, and other administrative support as needed
