SUMMARY
Seeking Seasonal Laboratory Technicians to support Seed Quality Testing operations within a high-throughput laboratory environment. This role is an excellent opportunity for candidates interested in agriculture, laboratory operations, quality testing, and scientific research.
The laboratory plays a critical role in supporting row crop production by ensuring seed quality through rigorous testing and analysis. Daily responsibilities may vary based on seasonal production demands and laboratory priorities.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Assist with laboratory testing and sample processing activities
• Perform seed-related tasks including seed dropping, crushing, planting, harvesting, counting, and grinding
• Prepare reagents and laboratory materials for testing activities
• Operate laboratory equipment according to established procedures
• Assist with receiving, inspecting, organizing, and stocking laboratory materials and supplies
• Follow laboratory safety procedures and standard operating guidelines
• Support routine and preventative maintenance activities on laboratory equipment
• Maintain accurate work practices to ensure quality and consistency of results
• Adapt to changing laboratory priorities and seasonal production needs
