Job Description
Required Education/Experience:



• High School diploma or equivalent required.



Preferred Education:



• Associate (AA) Degree



Required Qualifications:



• Good written and verbal communication skills.

• Basic computer skills such as word processing, data entry, and e-mail.

• Basic science and/or math skills.

• Team orientation.

• Ability to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

• Ability to apply basic techniques and procedures to assigned projects.

• Ability to work on assignments that are simple or moderately complex in nature where judgment is required in resolving problems and making routine recommendations.



Required Technical Skills:



• Word processing.

• Data entry.

• E-mail.

• Perform laboratory tasks and experiments.

• Analyze data and interpret results.

• Maintain laboratory equipment and inventory.

• Write experimental reports, summaries, and protocols.

• Maintain records of experiments performed.

• Perform limited troubleshooting and calibration of instruments.

• Routine assembly and testing (e.g., product performance and software script testing).



Responsibilities:



• Perform a wide variety of research and/or development laboratory tasks and experiments.

• Make detailed observations, analyze data, and interpret results.

• Maintain laboratory equipment and inventory levels for laboratory supplies.

• Write experimental reports, summaries, and protocols.

• Develop and maintain record keeping for experiments performed.

• Perform limited troubleshooting and calibration of instruments.

• Perform routine assembly and testing portions of projects (e.g., product performance and software script testing).

• Apply basic techniques and procedures to assigned projects.

• Work on assignments that are simple or moderately complex in nature.

• Perform other duties as assigned.
