SUMMARY
The ideal Individual will support daily activities in the laboratory by leading general operations, housekeeping, orderliness, and cleanliness of the workspace. Other duties will include receiving and labeling of incoming samples, maintaining and receiving sufficient labware inventory, as well as preparing buffers and reagents. Troubleshooting and operating equipment needed for PCR Production will be needed. This Candidate will be responsible for reviewing and archiving task-related documents.
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
• High school diploma or equivalent (GED) Bachelor’s degree (preferred)

RESPONSIBILITIES
• Lead general laboratory operations including housekeeping, orderliness, and cleanliness of workspace
• Receive, process, and accurately label incoming samples according to established protocols
• Maintain adequate inventory levels of labware and coordinate timely receipt of supplies
• Prepare buffers and reagents following standardized procedures
• Operate and troubleshoot equipment required for genotyping production activities
• Review, organize, and archive task-related documentation in accordance with laboratory standards
• Ensure compliance with Employee Safety and Health guidelines and Standard Operating Procedures
• Maintain a safe and compliant work environment at all times
• Interface effectively with manufacturing and research personnel across multiple departments
• Manage multiple concurrent tasks while maintaining quality and accuracy
