Job Description
Required Education:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent



Preferred Education:

• Associate's Degree with some lab experience



Required Qualifications/Skills/Experience:

• Minimum 01+ years of clinical lab experience

• Strong communication skills

• Ability to work a flexible schedule (25–30 hours per week)

• Ability to stand for 2–4 hours at a time during clinical studies

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint



Preferred Qualifications/Skills/Experience:

• 1–2 years of clinical research experience



Clinical Lab Assistant Overview:

• Supports the preparation and execution of clinical studies for consumer product testing across multiple categories including beauty care and household products

• Works closely with clinical coordinators to ensure studies are conducted accurately safely, and in compliance with protocols

• Interacts directly with study participants, providing clear instructions and obtaining informed consent

• Assists in data collection, entry, and quality checks to support study outcomes and product claims

• Contributes to a collaborative lab environment by supporting setup, execution, and post-study processes

• Requires strong attention to detail organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced setting



Job Duties:

• Prepare documents and materials for clinical studies

• Assist in study setup and execution

• Interview participants and administer informed consent

• Collect and record data from clinical instruments

• Perform data entry and quality checks

• Prepare the lab before and clean after studies

• Ensure study participants understand procedures and instructions

• Communicate study-related information clearly to large groups

• Perform general lab duties including preparing lab coats and maintaining clean laundry

• Operate clinical instruments as needed

• Assist with product application during studies

• Use scientific scales to measure product weights before and after studies

• Collect materials from study environments (e.g., hot room pads)

• Wash participants’ arms and legs as required by study protocols

• Support additional tasks as needed for study execution



Comments/Special Instructions:

Normal business hours 25-30 hour per week, Schedule will be set monthly
