Job Description
Required Education:
• Associate degree in Chemistry, Material Science, or a related scientific field

Required Qualifications/Skills/Experience:
• Ability to gather, understand, and interpret chemical, physical, and mechanical data
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with team members in product development programs

Laboratory Technician Overview:
• This role supports laboratory-based product development activities with a focus on adhesive formulation, preparation, testing, and documentation.
• The position requires hands-on laboratory work, adherence to safety practices, and the ability to produce accurate and reliable data.
• The individual in this role will assist Engineers and Supervisors with project-related tasks, maintain project timelines, and apply basic problem-solving to address challenges that may impact deliverables.
• The work involves operating laboratory equipment, programming robots, and working with various curing and dispensing systems.
• Strong communication skills are essential for reporting observations and supporting cross-functional project teams.
• This role is ideal for someone who enjoys laboratory work, values precision, and contributes to a collaborative development environment.

Job Duties:
• Conduct laboratory work in a safe manner including proper use of PPE, adherence to site safety practices, utilization of laboratory equipment, and following 5S standards
• Execute adhesives formulation preparation, testing, and data generation along with documentation and laboratory reports
• Communicate basic observations related to data and experimental outcomes
• Provide project support as assigned by the Engineers and/or the Supervisor
• Assist in maintaining project timelines
• Use basic problem-solving skills to overcome project bottlenecks and maintain deliverable dates
• Program robots and operate various curing and dispensing equipment
• Report laboratory results and methods in accordance with company standards.
