REQUIRED EDUCATION

• High school diploma or equivalent.



PREFERRED EDUCATION

• Some college coursework or currently enrolled in college with an emphasis in agriculture, biology, or food science backgrounds.



REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

SUMMARY

Seeking Seasonal Lab Technicians to support its Vegetable Quality Research and Development Laboratory in Woodland, California. This position offers an excellent opportunity for college students, recent graduates, or candidates with food handling and production experience who are interested in gaining hands-on laboratory experience.



Technicians will support vegetable quality testing programs through sample preparation, data collection, laboratory maintenance, and analytical testing activities that contribute to crop research and product development initiatives.



RESPONSIBILITIES

• Prepare and process fruit and vegetable samples for laboratory evaluation.

• Collect quantitative data related to fruit and vegetable characteristics.

• Enter laboratory data accurately into LIMS and other laboratory systems.

• Support laboratory operations through inventory management, labeling, and routine maintenance activities.

• Wash laboratory glassware and maintain a clean, organized work environment.

• Assist with chemical preparation, solvent preparation, and waste management procedures.

• Operate laboratory equipment and analytical instruments under supervision.

• Maintain accurate records and documentation.

• Follow established laboratory procedures and safety guidelines.

• Support research and development projects within the Vegetable Quality Laboratory.
