Job Description
Required Qualifications

Education:

o Bachelor's degree (B.S./B.A.) in a scientific discipline preferred (or equivalent experience).



Experience:

o 0–5 years of laboratory or related scientific experience.



Required Skills:

• Basic understanding of scientific principles and laboratory testing techniques.

• Knowledge of physical testing procedures.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

• Good organizational and time-management skills.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.



Preferred Skills:

• Familiarity with cGMP documentation practices is preferred.



Position Overview

• Perform physical testing of medical devices and combination products.

• Support R&D, verification, complaint investigations, and stability studies.

• Conduct laboratory testing in a cGMP-regulated environment.

• Ensure compliance, product quality, and operational efficiency through continuous improvement.



Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine and moderately complex physical testing on medical devices.

• Test both routine and non-routine laboratory samples.

• Perform routine laboratory maintenance and housekeeping.

• Order, track, and maintain laboratory supplies and inventory.

• Perform sample filling, decontamination, and support complaint investigations.

• Receive training and assist in training other laboratory personnel.

• Coordinate daily laboratory activities with the Lab Supervisor.

• Identify technical issues and assist with troubleshooting and resolution.

• Participate in process improvements and cross-functional project teams.

• Resolve routine issues with management approval.

• Follow cGMP policies, SOPs, and documentation requirements.

• Maintain 95% on-time completion of scheduled testing activities.

• Perform additional quality-related duties as assigned.

Work Environment

• Laboratory-based role requiring full onsite presence.

• Frequent repetitive hand movements and manual sample handling.

• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.



Safety Requirements

• Work with hazardous chemicals, glassware, needles, and syringes.

• Must follow laboratory safety protocols.

• Required to wear appropriate PPE, including lab coat and safety glasses, as needed.



Additional Details:

• Work Model: Fully Onsite

• Schedule: Monday – Friday

• Working Hours: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM PT (8-hour shift)

• Interview Process:

o Round 1: 30-minute interview with the Hiring Manager/Direct Supervisor

o Round 2: 45-minute Panel Interview
