Job Description
Required Education:
• Bachelor’s degree in a mechanical or Chemical engineering field with emphasis on electronics packaging and thermal management.

Required Qualifications/Skills/Experience:
• At least 2 years of experience working in a electronics testing laboratory.
• Basic knowledge of electronics assembly, thermal management, and thermal interface materials
• Ability to gather, understand, and interpret mechanical, thermal, and chemical test data
• Understanding of mathematical and statistical methods relevant to thermal performance testing
• Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, and Excel

Preferred Qualifications/Skills/Experience:
• 3+ years of experience working in an electronics testing laboratory
• Familiarity with statistical analysis software

Electronics Testing Lab Engineer Overview:
• Supports engineering and product development teams by executing laboratory-based testing focused on electronics packaging and thermal performance
• Performs mechanical, thermal, and chemical testing to evaluate materials and assemblies used in electronic applications
• Operates specialized laboratory equipment to ensure accurate and repeatable test results
• Analyzes and documents test data to support engineering decisions and customer requirements
• Contributes to a safe, organized, and compliant laboratory environment while supporting continuous improvement initiatives

Job Duties:
• Execute engineering test requests accurately and efficiently while adhering to site safety practices
• Operate laboratory equipment, including robotic liquid dispensing equipment, thermal performance testing systems, Pick & Place machines, microscopes, and mechanical property testers
• Draft technical testing reports using digital documentation tools
• Perform internal and external laboratory demonstrations and training
• Maintain material inventory in laboratory storage
• Ensure laboratory and application equipment are calibrated and safety checked in compliance with local regulations
• Participate in site safety and 5S programs.
