• Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Materials Engineering

equired Qualifications/Skills/Experience

• 5+ years of process experience

• Hands-on laboratory experience

• Knowledge and application of 5S principles

• Basic data summarization skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

• Ability to understand and follow experimental protocols to ensure preservation of data

• Ability to follow safe laboratory practices and protocols

• Ability to stand while working in the laboratory throughout most of the day

• Ability to generate routine data based on standard test methods



Laboratory Technician Overview

• Under the supervision of a Senior Technician or Engineer, the Technician performs laboratory testing and experimental activities with a high level of initiative and independence

• The role focuses on testing and evaluating adhesives, including paste and film materials, while accurately collecting, recording, and summarizing data

• The Technician participates in organizing and performing experiments using established procedures and communicates results through data summaries, charts, and tables

• The position supports Application Engineers by generating reliable test data and project information

• The Technician is expected to maintain safe laboratory practices, follow established experimental protocols, and contribute to an organized laboratory environment through 5S practices



Job Duties

• Test and evaluate adhesives, including but not limited to paste and film materials

• Evaluate, collect, and record test data

• Participate in organizing and performing experiments using established procedures

• Summarize and report experimental results

• Use a computer to enter data and information

• Prepare charts and tables to communicate project results and details

• Generate routine data based on standard test methods

• Support Application Engineers with data generation
