Overview
We are seeking an Inventory Control Clerk to help maintain accurate inventory records and support daily order processing in a manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for identifying and resolving inventory discrepancies, maintaining accurate system balances, and managing materials with special inventory statuses.
The successful candidate will work closely with Inventory, Quality, Manufacturing, and other operational teams to ensure materials are accurately tracked, properly dispositioned, and available when needed.
Key Responsibilities
• Audit physical and system inventory to maintain accurate inventory balances.
• Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies identified during daily order processing.
• Process rejected, expired, short-dated, and returned products according to established procedures.
• Manage materials designated for destruction, rework, or quarantine.
• Resolve orders placed on hold because of inventory status or availability issues.
• Maintain accurate inventory transactions and documentation within computerized systems.
• Coordinate with Quality and Manufacturing regarding material disposition and inventory status.
• Research system information and transaction history to identify the cause of inventory discrepancies.
• Ensure inventory records remain accurate, current, and properly documented.
• Perform other inventory-control and clerical duties as assigned. - **Only those lawfully authorized to work in the designated country associated with the position will be considered.**
