Education:

• Bachelor's degree or certification in instructional design or education related areas of study.



Top skills looking for:

Required Skills:

• Self-manage assigned tasks and deadlines to complete deliverables on time.

• Work closely with team and subject matter experts to proactively communicate concerns, issues and risks.

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop instructor-led and on-the-job training for apprenticeships in the electric transmission and substation group

• Develop learning materials for technical content, including hands-on practice activities, student guides, facilitator guides, scenarios, job aids, assessments, simulations, and other instructional media.

• Perform a detailed task analysis for each job function, business process, or system for which training will be developed.

• Define learning objectives, and course structure aligned to stakeholder needs and to meet the constraints of the learning environment.

• Work under the direction of the Senior Instructional Designer to apply company standards, guidelines, and templates.

• Participate in milestone meetings with subject matter experts, including task analysis, alpha, beta, train the trainer, and pilot.

• Engage with subject matter experts for ongoing content review and validation.

• Available during office hours: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (PST) Monday - Friday



Location

• Primarily work from home.

• Quarterly travel is required to Client locations

• Occasional overnight stays may be necessary to support client meetings and project milestones.
