This role translates business needs and subject matter expertise into structured, accessible, and engaging learning experiences using established instructional design standards, tools, and best practices.
The Instructional Designer will collaborate with learning partners, facilitators, subject matter experts, and business stakeholders to identify performance needs, develop effective learning solutions, and ensure content is accurate, relevant, accessible, and ready for delivery.
This position supports the end-to-end learning lifecycle, including instructional design, content development, quality assurance, accessibility, implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement. The Instructional Designer will also leverage evolving technologies, including AI-powered authoring and analytics tools, to improve development speed, quality, scalability, and learning effectiveness.

Collaborate and Partner
• Partner with Learning Consultants, facilitators, subject matter experts, and business stakeholders to clarify learning objectives, project scope, requirements, and constraints.
• Diagnose performance and learning needs and help determine appropriate learning solutions.
• Participate in stakeholder reviews, quality checks, and refinement cycles to ensure solutions meet expectations prior to launch.
• Collaborate with facilitators and learning partners to ensure alignment between instructional design intent and delivery.
Manage Quality, Process, and Updates
• Maintain organized project files, version histories, documentation, and tracking within approved systems and workflows.
• Identify content gaps, risks, inconsistencies, and opportunities for improvement.
• Conduct quality assurance reviews to ensure learning assets meet established standards.
• Review learner feedback, facilitator insights, and available performance data to continuously improve learning effectiveness.

• Utilize instructional authoring tools, learning platforms, and approved AI-enabled design technologies to accelerate development and improve quality.
• Leverage technology to support content tagging, updates, maintenance, and scalability of learning assets.
• Apply appropriate human judgment and quality assurance to AI-generated content to ensure accuracy, accessibility, relevance, and alignment with organizational standards.
• Stay current with evolving instructional design practices, learning technologies, authoring tools, and AI capabilities.
