Summary
The Information Security Sr. Manager will lead the Information Security of the Organization and communicate with the Headquarters Security Team. As a Senior Security Manager, you will provide strong leadership, mentoring, coordination, and overall project management for all program security operations and all organizations providing security delivery services to the Joint Venture.
Responsibilities:
• People management of Info. Security Organization personnel & IT related external partner employees
• Communicate with HQ Security team, sharing and managing the final direction within the local environment
• Overall management of physical and IT Security
• Create and oversee strategic long-term vision and business plan themes for assigned areas
• Lead and manage IT Security Projects
• Develop and implement security policies, protocols, and procedures.
• Control budgets for security operations and monitor expenses.
• Managing and training a team of professionals, including security staff and contractors.
• Attend meetings with other managers to determine operational needs.
• Plan and coordinate security operations for specific events.
• Coordinate staff when responding to emergencies and alarms.
• Review reports on incidents and breaches.
• Investigate and resolve security issues.
• Create reports for management on security status.
• Analyze data to propose improvements (such as implementing new technology).
• Ensuring a safe and secure environment for employees and guests while safeguarding company assets.
• Benchmark, assess, implement and maintaining enterprise security design standards.
Education/Experience:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Security or related field
• Minimum 8+ years of experience in information Security work.
• Fluent in Korean and able to communicate in English strongly preferred.
Knowledge/Skills:
• Strong analytical and conceptual thinking, as well as process-oriented mindset
• Proven experience as a security manager or in a similar position.
• Experience using relevant technology and equipment (e.g., CCTV).
• Familiarity with reporting and emergency response planning.
• Excellent knowledge of security protocols and procedures.
• Solid understanding of budgeting and statistical data analysis
• Positive, dedicated attitude and demonstrated effectiveness to achieve given goals within due dates
• The willingness and ability to work flexible hours occasionally to support team.
• Leadership and Open-mindedness.
• Consider issues, identify alternatives, choose, and implement solutions.
• Knowledge of appropriate measures of performance and applicable standards.
• Collaboration with team and other department.
• Working knowledge of MS Office.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
