Job Description
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering

Required Skills for the Material Flow Engineer:
- CAD
- Excel
- Data analysis skills
- Minimum of two years of relevant experience

Material Flow Engineer Overview:
- This candidate will be responsible for reviewing part numbers and conducting analysis related to inventory and operational issues. The role will also involve managing small projects focused on identifying and resolving process or inventory discrepancies.
Additional responsibilities include auditing inventory, gathering and analyzing data, and coordinating with vendors to ensure accuracy and efficiency. The candidate should have a strong understanding of design concepts in order to effectively collaborate with vendors. While this position will not involve creating designs, the individual will be expected to review CAD models and engineering concepts.

Responsibilities:
- Support EMF with sequence cart design and coordinate with vendors from design through production
- Assist with Rack parts audits and optimize plant storage space
- Support the storage identification process and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders
- Assist in developing and maintaining process documentation for ongoing projects
- Support PFEP documentation and updates
- Contributes by applying the knowledge of Operations Excellence principles and practices as they are applied to the Company
- Assists the work by utilizing continuous improvement tools, following the Company Operations Excellence Standards, and contributes to the development of logistics standards and working methods
- Works alongside business leaders, other functional leaders to proactively identify real issues and opportunities, develop prioritized improvement initiatives and coach them through to successful implementation
- Contributes by utilizing business knowledge and experience to identify growth opportunities for the functions internal to plant to improve outcomes for the customer
