Bachelor’s degree OR



Minimum 4 years of directly related experience in lieu of a degree



Candidates with a high school diploma can still be considered if they have strong, relevant healthcare or insurance experience (especially in member services, broker support, or employer group operations).

Approximately 3 weeks of structured training



Expected full productivity within 4 to 6 weeks

Training and Onboarding



-Overview

We are seeking an experienced Employer Services Specialist to support employer group services, broker relationships, and membership operations. This role is ideal for a highly skilled professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can independently resolve complex issues with minimal training.



Key Responsibilities



Respond to inquiries from customers, brokers, and account managers via phone and email



Handle high-volume transactional tasks such as payment processing, auto-pay setup, and information verification



Resolve escalated issues with independent judgment and a focus on one-contact resolution



Navigate multiple internal systems to retrieve, validate, and update member information



Ensure accuracy and completeness of applications and transactions



Identify trends in customer and broker issues and provide recommendations for improvement



Support member retention and growth through effective service and problem resolution



-Required Qualifications



Minimum 6 years of experience in healthcare, health insurance, or related field



Strong experience with healthcare systems and workflows



Proven ability to manage complex issues and escalations independently



Excellent customer service, communication, and organizational skills



Proficiency with standard business tools (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams)



-Preferred Qualifications



Experience supporting employer groups, brokers, or account management teams



Familiarity with systems such as AMT, SMU, ACI, BSOR/BPRS, EMWS, KPMC, and Sales Connect
