Additional Requirements:

Job Summary:
• The Office of the Attorney General of Texas is seeking two Level 1 Support Technicians to provide hands-on technical support for a large-scale computer and docking station refresh project.
• The selected candidates will perform computer imaging, workstation replacement, hardware deployment, data migration, and end-user support activities.
• Technicians will work as part of a project team that includes agency subject matter experts and project management staff to ensure successful deployment of new equipment and technology solutions throughout the agency.
• The ideal candidates will possess strong customer service skills, basic desktop support experience, knowledge of Windows operating systems, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
Responsibilities:
• Image, configure, deploy, and replace desktop and laptop computers as part of a hardware refresh initiative.
• Install, maintain, relocate, test, and upgrade computer hardware, docking stations, peripherals, and software.
• Assist with user data migration and workstation setup activities.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and peripheral issues.
• Provide first-level technical support for computer applications and equipment.
• Document service requests, support activities, and equipment records.
• Assist in monitoring system and software usage and provide user assistance as needed.
• Support access to and transfer of data between local, state, and federal information systems when required.
• Maintain compliance with agency information security policies, standards, and software controls.
• Collaborate with project managers, technical staff, and end users to ensure successful project execution.
• Provide exceptional customer service while supporting agency employees.
• Perform equipment movement and workstation setup, including lifting and relocating equipment weighing up to 30 pounds.
• Support deployment activities outside normal business hours, including evenings and weekends, when required.
