Job Description
Required Experience:
• Hands-on work with instrumentation, communication protocols (Modbus, DNP), and data stores
• Experience with electric power transmission equipment installation, commissioning, maintenance, testing, and troubleshooting
• Familiarity with condition-based maintenance, predictive maintenance, and equipment condition monitoring

Preferred Experience:
• Integration of online monitoring technologies and advanced analytics systems
• Use of PI Historian or similar data historian platforms
• Database management, business analysis, and reporting
• Software development/programming (Python, SQL, PowerBI)
• Exposure to artificial intelligence and machine learning applications in asset management

Job Overview:
Contractors will join client’s Transmission Asset Performance Center (APC), part of the Asset Management organization. The APC reduces risks from aging equipment through improved planning, better maintenance, and early problem detection. By integrating inspection data, test results, and sensor inputs into advanced analytics models, the APC monitors equipment health and supports decision-making on repair or replacement.

Job Responsibilities:
• Work with instrumentation, communication protocols, and data stores to support equipment condition monitoring
• Develop and maintain data, analytics, and reporting systems for asset performance
• Apply condition-based and predictive maintenance practices to transmission equipment
• Integrate online monitoring technologies and advanced analytics into asset management workflows
• Collaborate with team members to identify early warning signs of equipment issues and initiate corrective actions
• Support technology integration, database management, and reporting solutions
• Contribute to software development and programming tasks using tools such as Python, SQL, and PowerBI
