• Four-year degree a plus

Required Qualifications:
• Strong people and interpersonal skills with ability to communicate effectively with all levels, from frontline employees to senior management.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to facilitate learning and training programs.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to work with an Applicant Tracking System (ATS), preferably Taleo.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills.
• Ability to understand others, build relationships, motivate and inspire employees, and work effectively as part of a team.
• Ability to work in an office environment and accommodate frequent exposure to hot and cold conditions.
• Ability to walk frequently throughout the unit and perform extended periods of standing, sitting, and speaking.
• Willingness to complete required pre-employment screening, including drug screening, criminal background check, and/or airport fingerprinting, as applicable.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience in Human Resources, Training, or Organizational Development preferred.
• Staffing agency experience preferred, particularly experience with mass hiring.
• Business administrative support experience will be considered.
• Airline industry experience a plus.
• Commercial kitchen experience a plus.
• Experience working in a labor/union environment a plus.
• Experience coordinating new-hire orientation, training, mentoring, assessments, or employee performance/feedback programs.
• Experience working with management and cross-functional teams in a fast-paced operational environment.
• Bilingual in Spanish is Nice to have.
Position Summary:
• Central point of contact for new hires as they transition into the company. This position is responsible for all functions related to the new hire in unit-based kitchens(s).
Responsibilities:
• Orientation scheduling, coordination, facilitation and documentation
• Kitchen/Work Area tours
• Introduction to Key staff and Management
• Mentor Program: assignments, documentation and follow-up
• Ensure first 2-weeks training assignment
• Coordination of new hire performance review/feedback process
• New Employee assessment program Lead and documentation
• Works with Operations management as a team member
• Other duties as assigned by HRM, SHRM and Unit GM.
• Work schedule will vary to include 25% off shift - **Only those lawfully authorized to work in the designated country associated with the position will be considered.**
