Required Education:

Required Qualifications:
• Experience in Human Resources, employee administration, or a related field
• Knowledge of HR processes including recruitment, onboarding, payroll support, and employee records management
• Experience maintaining confidential employee information within HRIS systems
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact effectively with employees and management

Job Summary:

The HR Coordinator provides comprehensive administrative support for Human Resources operations at the site level. This role supports recruiting, onboarding, employee records management, payroll administration, personnel actions, compliance reporting, and employee relations initiatives. The HR Coordinator serves as a key point of contact for employees and management while ensuring compliance with company policies, employment regulations, and quality management standards. The ideal candidate is highly organized, customer-focused, and capable of managing multiple HR processes simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities:

Recruitment & Onboarding

• Assist with recruitment activities, including preparing position requisitions, coordinating job postings, and supporting employment advertising efforts.
• Coordinate employment background checks and pre-employment screening activities.
• Maintain applicant flow data to support Affirmative Action (AA) and Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) reporting requirements.
• Conduct new hire orientations and ensure completion of all required onboarding documentation, including tax forms and I-9 verification.
• Provide support to employees completing personnel-related forms and documentation.

Employee Records & HR Administration

• Maintain and update employee information within HRIS systems.
• Ensure personnel records are accurate, complete, and properly filed.
• Process and maintain personnel action forms related to compensation changes, promotions, transfers, job title changes, bonuses, incentives, and leaves of absence.
• Maintain confidentiality and security of employee information and records.

Payroll & Timekeeping Support

• Verify payroll information and communicate employee changes impacting payroll.
• Maintain accurate records of employee attendance, vacation, sick leave, and personal time.
• Coordinate payroll-related updates and ensure timely processing of personnel changes.

Workers' Compensation & Safety Administration

• Assist with workers' compensation administration, including injury reporting and documentation.
• Prepare and maintain OSHA and other regulatory reporting logs as required.
• Track lost time, modified duty assignments, and workers' compensation cases.
• Support workplace safety initiatives, including drug testing coordination and communication with medical providers.
• Participate in safety meetings and assist with preparation of safety-related communications and materials.

Employee Relations & Program Support

• Assist with administration of employee programs such as tuition assistance and Employee Assistance Programs (EAP).
• Support employee engagement activities, company events, charitable campaigns, and employee relations initiatives.
• Provide responsive customer service to employees, managers, and external stakeholders.
• Serve as a resource for general HR-related inquiries.

Compliance & Reporting

• Ensure compliance with company policies, employment regulations, and recordkeeping requirements.
• Support audits and reporting activities related to HR processes.
• Maintain accurate documentation and reporting for HR programs and initiatives.
• Perform additional administrative and HR-related duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements:

• Frequent sitting, standing, walking, and keyboarding
• Occasional bending and lifting of materials weighing more than 20 pounds
• Ability to work in a professional office environment
