Required Education:
• High school diploma or Equivalent
Required Qualifications/Skills/Experience:
• Minimum 6 months of work experience
• Ability to read, write, and count accurately
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift
• Ability to frequently bend and reach
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs independently and up to 80 lbs with assistance
• Experience working in fast-paced warehouse or operational environments
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to accurately record product serial numbers and inventory information
Preferred Qualifications/Skills/Experience:
• Previous shipping and receiving experience
• Inventory management or warehouse support experience
• Basic computer skills
• Experience handling IT hardware or technical equipment
Shipping Receiving Specialist – IT Equipment Overview:
• The Information Systems (IS) Technician Shipping Receiving is responsible for supporting daily warehouse and inventory operations related to IT hardware and equipment
• This role utilizes inventory management systems to process service orders and maintain accurate inventory records while ensuring timely and accurate shipment of equipment to stores and field service technicians
• Responsibilities include receiving, unpacking, storing, picking, packaging, and shipping IT hardware in accordance with operational deadlines and quality standards
• The position also supports returned equipment processing, inventory tracking, and maintaining clean and organized work areas
• Candidates must be comfortable working in a physically demanding environment that requires constant walking, standing, bending, and lifting throughout the shift
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced operational setting are essential for success in this role
• This position is fully onsite and may extend longer based on business needs and candidate performance
Job Duties:
• Ship IT hardware according to scheduled deadlines
• Receive, unpack, store, and inventory IT hardware and equipment
• Pick, package, and prepare shipments for stores and field service technicians
• Process shipped and returned equipment accurately
• Record product serial numbers and inventory information
• Maintain clean, neat, and organized work areas
• Utilize inventory systems and service orders to complete daily tasks
• Support shipping and receiving operations
• Follow verbal and written instructions to complete assignments
• Maintain operational accuracy and productivity standards
