Summary:

The IT Desk Side Technician will be responsible for providing on-site technical support to end-users, ensuring the smooth operation of hardware and software systems. This role involves troubleshooting, maintenance, and installation of IT equipment, as well as providing excellent customer service.



Key Accountabilities:

- Provide on-site technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, and other peripherals.

- Troubleshoot hardware and software issues, including operating systems and applications.

- Install, configure, and maintain IT equipment and software.

- Assist with network connectivity issues and ensure proper network configurations.

- Perform routine maintenance and updates on IT systems.

- Document and track issues using a ticketing system.

- Collaborate with other IT team members to resolve complex issues.

- Provide training and support to end-users on IT-related topics.

- Maintain inventory of IT equipment and supplies.

- Ensure compliance with company IT policies and procedures.



Education/Experience:

- Proven experience as a Desk Side Technician or in a similar role.



Knowledge/Skills:

- Strong knowledge of Windows and Mac operating systems.

- Familiarity with network protocols and configurations.

- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified Professional) are a plus.
