Required Education

• Technical School certification with GED or High School Diploma.

Preferred Education

• Associate degree in Information Technology or related field.

• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent customer service and communication skills.

• Proficiency with computer hardware and software applications.

• Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively.

• Strong organizational and follow-up skills.

• Ability to travel between locations to service equipment.

• Ability to work flexible hours supporting a 24/7 environment.

• Field service technician experience.

• Experience supporting retail technology systems.

IS Technician – Helpdesk (Field Service Technician) Overview

• The IS Technician – Helpdesk (Field Service Technician) provides technical support across a defined geography of retail locations by installing, diagnosing, and repairing computer equipment and retail technology. This role ensures that store systems remain operational by responding to equipment failures, performing hardware installations, and resolving technical issues within established service level agreements.

• The technician works independently in the field while delivering excellent customer service to store teams and maintaining compliance with technical and operational procedures.



Job Duties

• Install, service, and repair computer equipment and retail technology systems.

• Diagnose and resolve hardware and system issues at store locations.

• Maintain compliance with company policies and operational procedures.

• Manage workload, inventory, and administrative documentation.

• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of technologies, processes, and policies.

• Provide timely technical support while meeting service level commitments.

• Travel between retail locations to service and install hardware.
