Required Education
• Technical School Equivalent Education or High School Diploma

Required Qualifications/Skills/Experience
• Minimum 01 year of Field Service technician experience
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Proficient in using computer hardware and software applications
• Ability to work in a flexible schedule environment supporting 24 x 7 hours of operation
• Must have a reliable personal vehicle for field service travel
• Ability to drive between customer locations across a large service geography

Field Service Technician Overview
• Provides field-based technical support across assigned retail locations by delivering excellent customer service while installing, diagnosing, and resolving equipment failures within established service level agreements
• Services and supports a broad range of retail technology, including point-of-sale registers, self-checkout registers, thermal and laser printers, scanners, PCs, thin clients, phone systems, RF, networking, cabling, pharmacy, photo, minute clinic, and related computer peripherals
• Travels between locations to perform hardware installations, repairs, troubleshooting, and service activities
• Works primarily a normal day shift while maintaining flexibility to support operational requirements and assist neighboring service areas when needed
• This is a field service position requiring a reliable personal vehicle

Job Duties
• Service and install computer equipment by analyzing, diagnosing, and resolving problems while providing excellent customer service and meeting service level commitments
• Adhere to all compliance processes and procedures
• Self-manage workload, overtime, inventory, and administrative functions
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of technology, processes, policies, and procedures
• Travel between assigned retail locations to service and install hardware
• Install, diagnose, and resolve failures involving POS registers, self-checkout registers, thermal printers, laser printers, scanners, PCs, thin clients, phone systems, RF, networking, cabling, pharmacy, photo, minute clinic, and other related computer peripherals
• Support neighboring service areas with workload as needed
• Provide service within established service level agreements.
