Job Description
# CT Technologist (ARRT CT) – Full-Time Travel or Local Engagement | Nights

## Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced **CT Technologist** for a **13-week engagement** with a leading acute care hospital in **Mount Pleasant, South Carolina**. We welcome both **travel** and **local** candidates who are passionate about delivering exceptional patient care in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

The ideal candidate will have experience performing a broad range of CT procedures while supporting patients across the Emergency Department, ICU, acute care, and outpatient settings.

## Engagement Details

* **Start Date:** August 17, 2026
* **Engagement Length:** 13 weeks
* **Schedule:** 3 x 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
* **Hours:** 36 hours per week
* **Shift Pattern:** Friday–Sunday
* **Call Requirement:** None
* **Weekend Requirement:** None beyond scheduled shifts
* **Floating:** May be asked to float to a nearby affiliated location when staffing needs require. Equipment and imaging protocols are consistent across locations.

## Minimum Qualifications

* Minimum **2 years of CT Technologist experience**
* First-time travelers are encouraged to apply
* Current certifications:

* ARRT (R)
* ARRT (CT)
* BLS (Basic Life Support)

## Required Experience & Skills

### Clinical Experience

* Adult Acute Care
* Adult Outpatient
* Emergency Department
* Intensive Care Unit (ICU)

### CT Imaging Experience

* Abdomen without and/or with contrast
* Pelvis without and/or with contrast
* Chest without and/or with contrast
* Colorectal studies (rectal contrast)
* Enterography
* Intravenous Pyelogram (IVP)
* Carotid imaging
* Head without and/or with contrast
* Sinus imaging
* Soft tissue neck
* Cervical, thoracic, and lumbar spine imaging
* Musculoskeletal trauma imaging
* CT Arthrography
* Drainage procedures
* Myelography

### Technical Skills

* Siemens CT equipment experience
* Peripheral IV insertion
* Venipuncture
* Radiation safety
* Infection prevention and isolation precautions (PPE)

## Preferred Qualifications

* Pediatric acute care experience
* Pediatric outpatient experience

## Patient Population

* Infants
* Pediatrics

## Department Information

* Average daily patient volume: Approximately 30 patients
* Patient ratio: 1:1
* Scrub Color: Royal Blue

## Orientation & Training

* 24 hours of unit orientation
* Hospital orientation during the first week (attendance required)
* Required online pre-start education modules completed prior to the engagement

## Additional Information

* Local and travel candidates are both encouraged to apply.
* Up to seven (7) days of requested time off may be considered if submitted before engagement confirmation.
* Additional time off requests after confirmation cannot be guaranteed.
* Candidates should be flexible with floating based on operational needs.
* Interview availability within the next 72 hours is requested at the time of application.
* Flu vaccination is required (medical and religious exemptions accepted). COVID-19 vaccination is not required.
