Required Qualifications / Skills

• Ability to use Microsoft Teams, WebEx, and similar communication tools.

• Ability to navigate network drives and shared workspaces.
• Ability to attend scheduled meetings and trainings.
• Ability to travel throughout Missouri using personal transportation.
• Ability to meet virtually and in person with Client staff and stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications
• Basic understanding of public health services and the variety of approaches to service delivery.
• Basic understanding of systems mapping components.
• Experience developing tools for collecting systems mapping data.
• Experience developing training materials, PowerPoint presentations, guidance documents, or similar resources.
• Experience communicating information to individuals and groups through in-person, virtual, and written formats.

Position Summary
The Public Health Program Specialist will support the Client and local public health agencies in public health program activities, systems mapping, communication, training, and technical assistance. The individual will work collaboratively with Client staff, local public health agencies, and other stakeholders to support project goals and deliverables.

Key Responsibilities
• Collaborate with Client staff and local public health agencies on public health program initiatives and project goals.
• Support systems mapping activities and help identify and document components of public health service delivery systems.
• Develop clear and concise tools for collecting systems mapping data.
• Assist with gathering, organizing, and communicating information to diverse stakeholders.
• Develop training and support materials, including PowerPoint presentations, guidance documents, and other written resources.
• Present information to diverse groups through in-person and virtual meetings, trainings, and convenings.
• Provide responsive customer service to individuals and organizations with varying levels of technical knowledge.
• Represent Missouri Client with key stakeholders in a professional and respectful manner.
• Quickly learn and effectively use technical applications and communication platforms such as Microsoft Teams and WebEx.
• Follow applicable Client policies and procedures.
• Utilize network drives and shared workspaces to manage and access project materials.
• Participate in scheduled meetings and trainings and maintain punctual attendance.
• Meet with Client staff virtually or in person as requested.
• Travel to Client offices and local public health agencies throughout Missouri as needed to provide technical assistance or training.
• Perform other duties related to project activities and deliverables as assigned.
