Data Management Analyst
Position Overview
As a member of the data management team within people experience, the data management analyst supports the accuracy, integrity and maintenance of employee and organizational data within workday.
The role is responsible for processing and validating HR data changes, responding to data-related requests, performing data audits, and supporting the maintenance of organizational structures, job architecture, position management and employee data.
Working closely with partners across the people team, the analyst will help ensure HR data is accurate, processes are consistently followed, and appropriate controls are maintained. The role will also support HRIS initiatives, system testing and ongoing process improvements.
Core Responsibilities
• Manage and resolve workday help cases, providing timely and accurate support for HR data and transaction requests in line with established processes and service expectations.
• Process and maintain employee and organizational data in workday, ensuring accuracy and compliance with established procedures and controls.
• Support position management activities, including the creation, maintenance and validation of position data.
• Investigate and resolve data and transaction issues, partnering with people team stakeholders as required.
• Perform regular data audits and quality checks, identifying anomalies and supporting resolution of data integrity issues.
• Prepare, validate and process mass data uploads, including workday EIBS.
• Maintain clear and accurate process documentation, work instructions and knowledge materials.
• Support sox, audit and governance requirements, ensuring appropriate controls and documentation are maintained.
• Support workday testing and process updates associated with system releases and other changes.
• Work collaboratively with global people team partners and other stakeholders to resolve requests and maintain data integrity.
• Identify opportunities to improve, simplify and automate data management processes.
• Handle confidential employee data with appropriate care and discretion.

Knowledge & Experience
• Experience working with HR data, HR systems, data operations or a related analytical function.
• Experience using workday, including working with employee, organizational or position data.
• Understanding of position management and position-based HR processes.
• Strong excel skills, including formulas, filters, pivot tables and working with large datasets.
• Experience in performing data validation, auditing and quality checks.
• Experience preparing and processing mass data uploads, including workday EIBS.
• Understanding of HR data governance, controls and sox requirements.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
