REQUIRED SKILLS
• 2 Years Min Experience
• Interest in greenhouse operations, plant propagation, and irrigation systems.
• Strong organizational, observational, and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multi project team.
• High attention to detail with strong task prioritization skills.
• Willingness to obtain Ag Worker Training and Pesticide Handler Training.
• Ability to work in greenhouse, field, and laboratory settings, including in physically demanding or adverse conditions.
• Able to sit, stand, walk, and lift materials for extended periods.
• Basic math competency and experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint).

RESPONSIBILITIES
Greenhouse Environmental Control & Irrigation
• Learn and operate the greenhouse environmental control system, including irrigation programming and alarm evaluation.
• Perform routine functionality checks and troubleshooting of greenhouse chambers, environmental systems, equipment, light racks, and bulbs.

Greenhouse Operations & Maintenance
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment: sweep floors, tidy work areas, manage supplies, and perform hose and nozzle checks.
• Clean and maintain evaporative cooling system components.
• Provide daily support for planting, sampling, pollinations and harvesting.

Research Support
• Assist with research setup and takedown activities, including:
o Installing irrigation systems.
o Collecting data as part of a collaborative research team.
o Removing, cleaning, and maintaining equipment after experiments.
• Contribute to the creation and improvement of greenhouse operation protocols.

Logistics & Communication
• Ability to work with other Greenhouse sites as needed.
• Attend some project and group meetings.
• Provide timely communication regarding updates, issues, and operational changes.
• Follow all sanitation standards, safety requirements, and company policies.
