Job Description

Our client is the world's largest intimates' specialty retailer offering a wide assortment of modern, fashion-inspired collections including signature bras, panties, lingerie, casual sleepwear, swim and athleisure, as well as award-winning prestige fragrances and body care.

Required Education:
• BFA/BA in Graphic Design or related field preferred; BA required.

Required Skills, Experience, & Abilities:
• 8+ years of experience as a Packaging Production Artist / Packaging Production Designer within a fashion or beauty company
• Expert proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) and Microsoft Office.
• Strong ability to concept, design, and develop original creative packaging, from initial ideation through final production execution.
• Demonstrated experience translating business objectives and brand strategy into compelling designs.
• Strong understanding of print production, color management (CMYK, spot colors), and file formats.
• Keen eye for detail, typography, layout, and brand consistency.
• Experience designing, preparing, and adapting artwork for retail and point-of-purchase displays, with a strong understanding of structure, materials, and production constraints.
• Intimate knowledge of formal typographic and graphic design conventions, with the ability to supply artwork in various file formats according to manufacturing requirements.
• Expert ability to create original designs and manufacturing dielines, as well as iterate and impose artwork onto dielines supplied by vendors.
• Experience writing clear, error-free print specifications for release to suppliers.
• Fluency in 4-color process, Pantone Matching System, studio color management, color profiles, and proofing.


Role:
The Production Sr. Designer serves as both the designer and production owner, responsible for leading artwork from concept through final production release. This role owns the execution, coordination, accuracy, and delivery of all artwork, ensuring creative intent is preserved while meeting brand, legal, and manufacturing requirements. The Production Designer is accountable for managing revisions, maintaining artwork status, and releasing final, supplier-ready files through Centric Software.

Responsibilities:
• End-to-End Artwork Ownership: Own all artwork from initial concept through final production release, ensuring timelines, approvals, and deliverables are met without handoffs or gaps in ownership.
• Design Execution: Execute approved creative concepts and designs through final artwork, ensuring alignment to creative direction and production requirements throughout the process.
• Artwork Production & Release: Prepare, finalize, and release print-ready artwork files to suppliers, ensuring all files meet technical, legal, and brand requirements prior to release.
• Centric Software Management: Upload, manage, version, and release all artwork files, revisions, approvals, and final deliverables within Centric Software, ensuring suppliers receive accurate, complete, and current files. Serve as the owner of artwork status and documentation within the system.
• Revision & Feedback Management: Coordinate and implement all cross-functional feedback and art direction, managing multiple rounds of revisions while maintaining accuracy and version control.
• Quality Assurance: Review all artwork prior to release to confirm accuracy of content, copy, color callouts, sizing, placement, and compliance with brand, legal, and technical standards.
• Supplier & Proof Management: Review printer-supplied proofs against approved artwork and ensure all required updates are accurately implemented prior to final approval.
• Cross-Functional Coordination: Partner with design and project manger to ensure alignment, approvals, and on-time execution.
• Process & Workflow Support: Maintain organized files in box, documentation, and workflows to support efficient production timelines, consistent execution, and clear communication across teams
