Job Description

Required Education//Certifications:
• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Graphic Design, with 3–5 years of relevant work experience in a corporate environment demonstrating the ability to meet job requirements through comparable work experience.
• Must be able to provide a portfolio/samples of recent work.

Required Skills, Experience, & Abilities:
• 3–5 years or above of administrative/operational support experience in a corporate, service-oriented environment, ideally within a financial institution.
• Advanced knowledge of industry-standard graphic design applications.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
• Advanced knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud applications, including Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, and Acrobat Professional.
• Strong understanding of fundamental graphic design and layout principles.
• Excellent attention to detail and focus on quality and accuracy.
• Strong interpersonal, customer service, and oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently with little supervision and as part of a team.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multitask, and cope with pressure.
• Ability to assess work, make technical decisions, and prioritize requests efficiently.
• Readiness to follow processes, policies, and procedures.

Desired Skills, Experience, & Abilities:

Overview:
Hybrid Designer role combining graphic design and workflow responsibilities, with the role primarily focused on workflow and a smaller graphic design component. Presentation Technology is a group of specialists providing services to internal banking clients within the Institutional Clients Group, including Banking and Corporate Markets Advisory, Treasury and Trade Solutions, and Markets. The team operates in a busy 24/7 department producing live deal, pitch book, and custom design materials for high-profile investment banking transactions. The role produces and supports a variety of client materials, including pitch books, deal books, covers, templates, infographics, logos, maps, and illustrations, using Microsoft Office and Adobe applications at an advanced level. The position requires strong PowerPoint, Excel, Illustrator, Adobe, and Photoshop skills, with an emphasis on graphic design and workflow rather than UX/UI, marketing, or social media. The role works directly with workflow staff and clients to establish deadlines, job instructions, and design requirements while maintaining client branding standards, quality, accuracy, and efficient job tracking. The successful candidate can work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple priorities, communicate effectively, and contribute to team processes and knowledge sharing.

Responsibilities:
• Produce a variety of marketing materials, including pitch books, deal books, covers, templates, and infographics, using MS Office and Adobe applications to an advanced level.
• Assist with the production of creative PowerPoint pitch books and provide conceptual and visual solutions to enhance client materials, including motion graphics.
• Trace and produce logos, maps, and illustrations.
• Ensure all materials produced are correctly branded according to Client standards and advise clients on the use of the client brand.
• Liaise directly with workflow staff and clients to determine deadlines, job instructions, and design requirements.
• Complete related administrative tasks for accurate work billing and job tracking.
• Assist with Intake coordination when required.
• Perform quality control on own work and assist colleagues with QC tasks.
• Buddy new starters following training.
• Contribute to best production practices through internal initiatives and programs.
