Job Description
Required Education:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

Required Skills, Knowledge, and Experience:
• Strong knowledge of governmental accounting and financial reporting
• Experience with cost allocation methodologies and federal claiming processes
• Familiarity with Medicaid Administrative claiming and Cost Allocation Plans
• Experience performing financial reconciliations and fiscal close activities
• Knowledge of Indirect Cost Rate development and application
• Experience with enterprise financial systems (Workday preferred)
• Ability to analyze complex financial data and resolve discrepancies
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial processing
• Ability to manage time-sensitive priorities and meet strict deadlines
• Excellent documentation and audit support skills

Preferred Skills, Knowledge, and Experience:
• Experience in state government or public sector finance
• Advanced Excel skills (reconciliations, data analysis, reporting)

Medicaid Cost Allocation & Financial Analyst Responsibilities:
• Perform Workday financial reconciliations to support the fiscal close
• Analyze and resolve discrepancies across accounts and funding sources
• Calculate and process adjustments related to approved Indirect Cost Rates
• Support implementation of multi-year indirect cost rate changes
• Complete cost allocation reconciliation
• Assist with documentation and support for Auditor General and federal compliance requirements
• Prepare reports, schedules, and supporting documentation for financial review
