Education
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field
Required Qualifications/Skills/Experience
• 6 years of experience in semantic HTML5
• 6 years of experience with modern responsive CSS and SASS
• 6 years of experience with implementing WCAG 2.2 Level AA accessibility standards
• 6 years of experience in using ARIA landmarks, roles, and attributes
• Knowledge of color contrast accessibility requirements
• Experience implementing keyboard navigation and focus management
• Experience testing accessibility using screen readers including NVDA, JAWS, and VoiceOver
• 6 years of experience using accessibility auditing tools such as axe DevTools and WAVE
• 6 years of experience in integrating front-end user interfaces into Angular or ASP.NET MVC applications
• Strong understanding of modern web standards
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to communicate accessibility standards and frontend best practices to technical and business stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications/Skills/Experience
• Experience working with established design systems

UI Developer / Accessibility Expert Overview
Join a digital modernization team as a UI Developer / Accessibility Expert focused on building accessible, user-centered web interfaces
This position is dedicated to frontend engineering and accessibility implementation rather than backend or full-stack development
Partner closely with a lead UX Architect and accessibility specialist to implement scalable accessibility standards across multiple enterprise web initiatives
Develop clean, semantic, maintainable HTML and CSS/SASS that aligns with modern web standards and accessibility best practices
Integrate frontend user interfaces into Angular or ASP.NET MVC applications while maintaining high-quality coding standards
Ensure digital experiences comply with WCAG 2.2 Level AA requirements by implementing ARIA attributes, keyboard accessibility, focus management, color contrast, and screen reader compatibility
Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to communicate technical frontend requirements, accessibility standards, and implementation best practices
Contribute to enterprise-wide digital initiatives including reusable interface components, chatbot interfaces, and global application features while supporting a consistent user experience across multiple projects
