Job Description
Required Education:
• High school diploma or GED.
• HVAC trade school certificate or equivalent experience.

Required Qualifications:
• Minimum 2+ years' experience preferred (or entry level for apprentice roles).
• Valid EPA 608 Certification (Type I, II, or Universal preferred).
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical manuals.
• Strong customer service and communication abilities.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in various environments, including outdoors, rooftops, and confined spaces.

Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with smart thermostats and building automation.
• Familiarity with both residential and light commercial systems.
• Boiler and/or chiller experience.
• Electrical and refrigeration background.
• Kitchen equipment and/or refrigeration experience.

Job Responsibilities:
• Perform diagnostic evaluations, troubleshooting, and repairs on HVAC systems.
• Install, maintain, and repair heating, cooling, ventilation, and refrigeration equipment.
• Conduct system performance tests and ensure units meet manufacturer and code standards.
• Perform routine maintenance, including filter changes, coil cleaning, and component inspections.
• Provide excellent customer service while explaining repair needs, options, and recommendations.
• Complete work orders, service reports, and documentation accurately.
• Maintain company tools, vehicles, and equipment in good working condition.
• Follow all safety guidelines, company policies, and applicable codes and regulations.
• Participate in on call rotation for after-hours or emergency service.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch, management, and customers.
Work Environment & Schedule
• Field based role with daily travel to customer locations.
