Job Description

Looking for mechanics or technicians that are comfortable working in a rail yard environment implementing modifications/change orders or performing routine testing on new vehicles

Key requirements of a technician:
• Familiar with common test equipment (multi meter, clamp meter, DC and AC power supplies)
• Familiar with PLC source code upload
• Knowledge of logic controls like I/O-stations, relay logic, and HMI intefaces
• Knowledge ETHERNET based communication networks, their setup, and diagnostic
• Ability to work with a variety of system design documents like schematics, functional descriptions, and specifications to troubleshoot and repair failures
• Familiar with common hand tools, torque wrenches, electrical harness routing
• Read, interpret, and built according to mechanical drawings and design documents
• Following applicable safety regulations and preferably OSHA 10 certification
